What are Uterine Polyps?

Endometrial polyps are soft, fleshy growths attached to the inner wall of the uterus. They develop from an overgrowth of the endometrial lining and can range from a few millimetres to several centimetres. Polyps may interfere with implantation by acting as a physical barrier or by altering the uterine environment.
