Dr. S. Chandralekha

Dr. S. Chandralekha is the Founder and Chief Fertility Specialist of Iswarya Fertility Centre and a pioneer in reproductive medicine in India. With more than 40 years of overall medical experience and over 35 years dedicated to infertility treatment, she has helped thousands of couples realize their dream of parenthood through advanced fertility care.

A distinguished Gold Medalist from Coimbatore Medical College, Dr. Chandralekha received seven gold medals during her MBBS and postgraduate studies and was recognized as the Best Outgoing Student of her batch (1985–86). She further specialized in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) with advanced training at the National University Hospital, Singapore, and holds the prestigious MRCOG qualification from London.

Driven by a vision to make fertility care accessible to everyone, she established India's first rural IVF Centre in Palani and founded Iswarya Fertility Centre, which has grown into one of India's leading fertility networks. Under her leadership, the organization has expanded across multiple cities while maintaining high standards of ethical and evidence-based fertility care.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Chandralekha has:

Successfully helped deliver more than 10,000 babies through Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).

Performed over 60,000 laparoscopic gynaecological surgeries.

Conducted more than 1,200 women's health and infertility awareness camps, particularly in rural communities.

Led initiatives in advanced reproductive technologies, fertility preservation, genetic testing, and minimally invasive surgery.

She has been instrumental in introducing advanced IVF techniques, fertility preservation, recurrent implantation failure management, recurrent pregnancy loss evaluation, and comprehensive reproductive care for complex infertility cases.

Apart from her clinical excellence, Dr. Chandralekha is widely respected for her commitment to women's empowerment and reproductive health education. She regularly conducts awareness programs on adolescent health, infertility, reproductive wellness, and family planning.

Her outstanding contributions to women's healthcare earned her the Women's Achievers Award (2016) presented by the Vice Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
