Tamil Nadu IVF Government Scheme — Eligibility

About the Scheme
The Government of Tamil Nadu has launched a free IVF scheme under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS) to provide assisted reproduction services to eligible couples.
Eligibility Criteria
- Couple must be residents of Tamil Nadu
- Annual family income below the specified threshold
- Female partner: preferably under 45 years of age
- Diagnosed infertility
- Not previously completed a government-funded IVF cycle
- CMCHIS enrolled household (Yellow/Green ration card holders)
What is Covered
- Initial fertility investigations (AMH, semen analysis, HSG)
- Ovarian stimulation medications
- Egg retrieval procedure
- Embryo culture and transfer
Documents Required
- Ration card
- Aadhaar card (both partners)
- CMCHIS card or eligibility certificate
- Income certificate from MRO/Tahsildar
- Marriage certificate
- Doctor's fertility diagnosis certificate
